What are these??

A few weeks ago, Ray Matthews found these rosettes of leaves in a mossy area of the reserve. We have never seen them before and there are perhaps 20 of them. I have put wire cages over some of them to keep the rabbits off but I'm guessing that the frosts will kill them off.

We think they might be orchids. (I know, it is November, but it has been a funny year.)
