Monday was really windy, so the ducks were packed into the edges of the shoreline. Teal are usually asleep by day, but they didnt have a very good night on Sunday so had to be more active than usual. Aren't they exquisite?

Lots of snow, and lots of birds here in Lisbon today.
Eastern Bluebirds, Gold Finches, House Finches, Hairy Woodpecker in front left. I think that's it!

Paxton Pits Nature Reserve This is from a group I belong to in Maine, New England. They just a had a good dumping of snow that brought more birds to the feeders.
Row James Aw shucks, and we were just about to whizz up the A1 to visit you wink emoticon

Cheryl Ramsay Looks like our backyard. We have Cardinals, Titmice, Chickadees, Goldfinches, House Finches, Blue Birds, Juncos, sparrows and wrens. Oh, and Downey and Red Bellied woodpeckers.
What a lovely evening! Starlings are still good and worth a look at 4:45 pm. Also Memsahib Mutjac at the feeders outside my office.
The double yellow lines appeared today, and the white ones. I wonder what colour we will get tomorrow?

Richard Lack Hmm...so who will police these double yellow lines? And is there a road sign to go with them ?
Paxton Pits Nature Reserve There will be signs. I guess the first car to get bent by a truck will get the message across!
Bryan Osborne RE Who paid for this yellow lining. Just asking, there are projects in town that have been informed there is no MONEY!
Peter Hagger added 2 new photos.
Some rather nice lichen at Paxton Pits Nature Reserve today

Now that's what I call a car park! Please remove your dirty boots before you walk on it. It's like a posh carpet. This time the bumps are intentional. They are there to stop Jeremy Clarkson from doing hand-brake turns and scuffing up the surface. You could use our car park for dance classes.
So now it's open for business and just in time too. The big lorries will be back on Monday so your car will be safer off the road.
