Monday was really windy, so the ducks were packed into the edges of the shoreline. Teal are usually asleep by day, but they didnt have a very good night on Sunday so had to be more active than usual. Aren't they exquisite?

Lots of snow, and lots of birds here in Lisbon today.
Eastern Bluebirds, Gold Finches, House Finches, Hairy Woodpecker in front left. I think that's it!

What a lovely evening! Starlings are still good and worth a look at 4:45 pm. Also Memsahib Mutjac at the feeders outside my office.
The double yellow lines appeared today, and the white ones. I wonder what colour we will get tomorrow?

Signs of spring at Barford Road Pocket Park. Lesser celandines and white dead-nettle in flower. Also a grey wagtail at the Black Traps.
Now that's what I call a car park! Please remove your dirty boots before you walk on it. It's like a posh carpet. This time the bumps are intentional. They are there to stop Jeremy Clarkson from doing hand-brake turns and scuffing up the surface. You could use our car park for dance classes.
So now it's open for business and just in time too. The big lorries will be back on Monday so your car will be safer off the road.
