January Events at Paxton Pits.

Ice-breaker Tick and Twitch - 10:00am with Jim Stevenson. Join Jim on his special guided walk around the reserve, where we undertake to help you see as many species as possible - but only if you agree to donate 10p for every species recorded. We aim to identify 50 species.Leaves the Visitors’ Centre at 10am prompt and don’t forget your binoculars and your money

Led by experienced local volunteers. Find out about Paxton Pits winter birds. Featuring a special session from the hides which will help you identify many species of wildfowl.Pay at the door £2:50

An illustrated talk by Dr Simon Morley of The British Antarctic Survey Team based at Cambridge. Come and hear about a totally different world - presented by an active member of the Friends.£2.50 each, pay at the door.
